  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) Dahua security camera systems work by transmitting both power and data over a single Ethernet cable. PoE cameras have a built-in PoE module that can accept power from a PoE-enabled switch or injector. This allows the cameras to be powered through the same cable that carries the data, eliminating the need for a separate power source.

When the PoE switch or injector is connected to a network, it sends power to the camera through the Ethernet cable, and the camera uses this power to operate. The camera also sends video data back to the PoE switch or injector, which in turn sends the data to the NVR or other recording device.

With PoE Dahua security camera systems, the installation is more simpler and flexible as it eliminates the need for a separate power source and reduces the number of cables needed. It also allows for a more efficient use of resources, as the camera can be placed anywhere there is an Ethernet connection.

  • NVR stands for Network Video Recorder. We install this device in your home or business. It powers all the cameras and stores all of the recorded footage from the cameras.

  • A UPS is an uninterruptible power supply. It is a backup battery that allows the system to work even if there is a power outage. Our standard UPS runs for around 30 minutes during a power outage. We recommend adding this to your system for extra security.

  • Yes, all of our cameras are equipped with advanced night vision capabilities that allow them to capture clear and detailed footage even in low-light conditions. The cameras use infrared (IR) technology to emit invisible light that allows the camera to see in complete darkness. The IR illuminators work in conjunction with the camera's image sensor to provide high-quality, low-light video footage. Additionally, many of our cameras also feature advanced image processing technologies, such as wide dynamic range (WDR), that help to ensure that the video footage is clear and detailed even in challenging lighting conditions.

Our TiOC Active Deterrent cameras have colour night vision.
